- Discuss with the coordinator what type of financial assistance you will need
"B" THE SECOND PHASE

- Start receiving any financial assistance you have been approved for.
- Your coordinator will work with both you and the adoptive parents to set up any visitation between you, if that is in your adoption plan.
- Work with your coordinator to develop a plan of what you want to happen when you deliver the baby.
- Work with your coordinator on setting goals and planning for your future.
"C" THE THIRD PHASE
- Contact your coordinator when you are in labor and are going to the hospital
- You can have constant support from your coordinator including labor coaching if you want it.
- If you plan to visit with your baby after he or she is born this will be supported.
- Be the one to hand your baby to the adoptive parents and watch them start the bonding process, if you want.
- Sign any other necessary paperwork; get the medical instructions on how to care for yourself post delivery.
- Return home to recuperate and start the process of moving forward with your life.
